Peggy goes to parliament

The future of the Peggy and her eventual display in Castletown on the Isle of Man will be discussed in Tynwald, the island's parliament: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-isle-of-man-59526984. Manx National Heritage has been hard at work preparing concept visuals for her new home and establishing the context and timetable for her return home. These have been presented in a paper at the request of Tynwald. You can read the paper here: The George Quayle Legacy: A Report to Tynwald. Watch this space for news of that.

Meanwhile, our conservation plan for the Peggy has been published on the MNH website: https://manxnationalheritage.im/collections/conservation/news-2/

Lady Guilford
